Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW)
History and Background

The Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) was established on 23 February 2003. It is a non-profit and non-political organization registered under the Societies Act, 1860 with the Government of Bangladesh.  This is the first institutional set-up in the name of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).  Following are its vision, mission, aim and objectives:

Vision:
To create an environment for peaceful coexistence in the society irrespective of caste, creed and class through correct interpretation and practice of the teachings of Islam and its propagation by establishing an Institutional process.  

Mission:
To initiate institution based approach for human development committed towards establishing social justice, human rights and respect for individual choice and dignity as promoted by Islam.

Aim:
To disseminate the basic principles of Islam and teachings of Prophet Mohammad (SAW) that emphasizes on peace and love for all of Allah’s creations and education through implementation of different programs that focus on literacy, poverty alleviation, research, basic rights and development of the individual and the community regardless of religious denominations.
