Activities

During the past short period, the Foundation could make some achievements. These include:

* In response to some of the invitations extended to him, the Chairman, Dr. Abdulmalik Mansour Hasan Al-Masabi, participated in a number of conferences, symposiums & meetings held in or outside the Arab-Islamic world by regional organizations (such as the Legume of Arab States & Organization of Islamic Conference), Govt. agencies, universities or cultural institutions.

* Several interviews were given by the Chairman to some of the printed & electronic media on topics relevant to the Foundation’s aims

* Conclusion of cooperation agreements with organizations taking interest in the themes of culture & dialogue such as the Arab League Education, Science & Culture Organization & the Islamic Education, Science & Culture Organization.

* Obtaining & maintaining a web site dedicated for publishing, mostly in Arabic but also some or abstracts in English, materials of relevance to the mission of the Foundation.

* Issue of an electronic periodical on its web site.

* Bringing out of its first printed publications series which is a book entitled “Insurrection: A study into armed political conflict” by Dr. Abdulmalik Mansour Hasan

* Translation of some selected materials which were virtually published on its web site

* The Foundation is presently engaged in preparing the personal library of the Chairman, Dr. Abdulmalik Mansour, to improve its capacity to provide the interested researchers & readers with library services.
