The Mohamed Rachid Charity Association started its work in September 1994 with the ‎following activities:‎
Abdel Rahman Mosque
A huge modern mosque ‎organizes courses on Quraan learning and competitions
Mohamed Rachid Preparatory School
is equipped with modern furniture, playgrounds and sport facilities
•The association also provides teachers with bonuses and pupils with school needs ‎such as uniforms, bags and writing material.‎
One Class Project
•The association provides them with the space, teachers, teaching materials, ‎uniforms, and other school needs
•The association has organized classes on the “One Class System” which addresses ‎mainly girls who did not receive the basic education on time.‎
Mohamed Rachid Nursery
•The nursery does not only develop the children mentally but also provide medical, ‎nutritional, and social services to them and their families.‎
•The nursery organizes trips, excursions, and festivals for the children and their ‎families
Illiteracy Courses
•The association organizes illiteracy courses for the community members and ‎currently provides 21 classes with 30-33 adults.‎
Mohamed Rachid Clinic
•Including: different clinics with all branches, pharmacy & laboratory.‎
•Work 24 hours.‎
Workshop for Producing Families
•The aim of this workshop is to reduce unemployment and to increase the standard ‎of living among poor families.‎
•Teaching women a handcraft, among the handcrafts they are learning how to ‎make carpets, bed sheets and pullovers.‎
Workshop for carpets in Smouha
•Teaching women in Smouha the handcraft, as well as making carpets, their ‎production was more than perfect especially for the silk & wool carpets
Workshop for the Special Needs
•Serving the special needs category.‎
•Providing several opportunities for vocational training, production & marketing.‎
•Developing the skills of those categories in several social, religion, cultural & ‎sporting activities.‎
Ballet Team
•The association providing the ballet team with all its requirements from clothes, ‎equipments, as well as organizing parties during the whole year.‎
‎21st Century Computer Club‎
•It’s a great collaboration where private sector, government, NGO’s have ‎partnered together to realize this clubs.‎
•The mission is to invest in our future to prepare leaders.‎
•Designed in away to be attractive and beneficial for all participants.‎
Arts and sculpturing school.‎
•‎ Mohamed Rachid Association is interested in developing art and culture in ‎Alexandria society.‎
•The association also sponsors exhibitions and competitions for young talented ‎and annual youth salon arranged by Atelier of Alexandria.‎
