Our projects

 
At the moment we are particularly interested in training and development work among both women and men. Projects we are currently developing include the following:

Counselling and support work with Anfal survivors
Development of training courses for social workers and police in Kurdistan, to help them become aware of gender issues and to encourage the empowerment of women
We are also involved in work on honour-based violence, including:

* Archive: We are compiling an archive of cases of honour-based violence in Kurdistan, reported in local media, which we plan to put online later this year

* Trial observation: We are at present raising funds to send observers to Kurdistan to attend the trials of those accused of honour crimes
