The institute undertakes the following duties:
1. Coordinating with the official and public departments in the State regarding the protection of the rights of the child and woman.
2. Receiving complaints related to the deviant and perverted practices towards the child and woman, and solving them; and taking the suitable procedures in this regard in association with the concerned departments.
3. Publishing the rights of the child and woman and the methods of protecting them through different media channels, and issuing of different publications and printouts in this field and introducing the legal and social issues related to the matter.
4. Participation in the formulation of rules and regulations which have to do with the rights of the child and woman and expressing of opinions in this regard.
5. Participating in the adoption of the programs for protecting the childhood and motherhood in the State and securing them.
6. Conducting research studies and surveys about the risks incurred by the child and woman, as well as the methods of protection and care in this regard; in addition holding and attending seminars, conferences and meetings related to the topic inside and outside the State.
7. Coordinating with the local, regional, Arab and international organizations in all matters related to the activities practiced by the Foundation.
