A Noble Knight has left our World
Today, our dear friend Ahmed Nabil Al Helaly has passed away. He was a lawyer, a hard-working activist, a father, a brother and an idol to all of us. His goal in life was to defend people's rights everywhere. He has been a vital member of Egyptian left and national movements struggling for the rights of all Egyptians to a better life, equal working opportunities and independent syndicates and political parties for more than 50 years. It seems as if his death was a sign of grief for the death of his dear friend Yousif Darwish who had died shortly before. We sincerely miss his smile, friendship, and his devotion to defending all Egyptians' rights to freedom, safety, and a decent life.
