Major Activities

The major activities of the JCDT are:

1. Management of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park (in collaboration with the Government of Jamaica - National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) and the Forestry Department

2. Organisation of Jamaica’s biennial environmental exposition (and the Caribbean’s first such event) - Green Expo (since 1996)

3. Maintainance of a Resource Center with information on environmental conservation and sustainable development
