ACTSA National Executive Committee
Do you support ACTSA? Are you interested in serving on the ACTSA National Executive Committee (NEC)?
The ACTSA NEC is elected at the ACTSA Annual General Meeting (AGM) which in 2008 is on 1 November. You can stand for election to the NEC. You have to be an individual member of ACTSA and be nominated by another ACTSA member. The nominations usually have to be submitted approx 2 months before the AGM. Full details will be available 3 months prior to the AGM.
The NEC can also co-opt up to 3 people. Co-optees have to be individual members of ACTSA or commit to joining.
In addition NEC members must have the ability and time to commit to attend NEC meetings, currently 5 per year on Saturday mornings for approx 3 hours (travel and accommodation expenses paid if necessary)
The ACTSA NEC in considering co-options will consider the strengths of the elected members and seek people who can complement these and add to the knowledge and experience of the NEC. The NEC will consider its composition including black, minority ethnic, women and youth representation.
In addition to considering the above if you have some of the following and are interested in serving on the ACTSA NEC then contact either the Director or Chair of ACTSA
