Christopher Long is the Interim Director of WFDD.

Dr Vineeta Shanker is the project co-ordinator of “Faith in the Global Economic System” – a participative project to find out how people from different faiths view the prevailing economic system. Vineeta obtained a PhD in economics from the University of Paris then returned to her native country, India, to teach at the Jawahar Lal Nehru University in Delhi. Since 1995 she has been working from the Philippines as a freelance consultant for international organisations.

Trustees of WFDD

Lord Carey of Clifton, P.C. took over as the Chair of the Trustees of WFDD in April 2003. He was the Archbishop of Canterbury from 1991-October 2002.

Professor Akbar Ahmed holds the Ibn Khaldun Chair of Islamic Studies at the American University in Washington, DC.

Dr. Kamla Chowdhry is the Director of Vikram Sarabhai Foundation in New Delhi which works on policy issues and interconnections concerning spirituality, ecology and development.

Revd. Canon Dr. Richard Marsh, former Chair of the Trustees, is Director of the International Education Centre at Canterbury Cathedral.

Rabbi David Saperstein is the Director of the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. He has taught for over 20 years at Georgetown University Law Center and has served as the chair of several national religious coalitions, including the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom.
