What We Do?
An overview of the wide range of activities and services carried out by NICVA.
Governance and charity advice
NICVA runs a governance and charity advice service to advise on the set up and operation of a voluntary and community organisation.
Our funding advice service can help with guidance on project planning, helping to identify funding sources or making approaches to grant-makers.
NICVA''s policy interests span the whole range of issues affecting the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland. Through training, facilitation, lobbying and direct representation, the policy unit enhances the profile of the sector.
NICVA houses a new European Library; a collection of information, resources and research tools on the European Union and surrounding policy.
Our aim is to contribute to and develop knowledge about the voluntary and community sector for the benefit of researchers, policy makers and organisations interested in the sector.
Building partnerships with other organisations is an essential aspect of our work. We represent the voluntary and community sector on many committees, fora and working groups.
