To provide basic health services, primary health education, income generation opportunities and development of institutions to empower the underprivileged communities. SWAP started its Basic Health Promotion program in 2006, in the area of Karachi Towns to provide basic / primary health care awareness, champs, training workshops and exhibitions.
The basic health awareness in communities to allevate sickness, suffering and to rid the pain without any medicine. SWAP gradually expanded its basic health care services. SWAP under changed strategy trained locals (Male / Females) as Community Su Jok Health Worker, who provides basic / primary health care services to the community at their doorsteps under the supervision of SWAP and respective local community organizations. The program plays pivoting role in health advocacy, quality services, patient rights, research and control of diseases in the intervention areas
