Natasha F. Bilimoria
Executive Director

Natasha Bilimoria is the Executive Director of Friends of the Global Fight. Natasha previously served as Acting Director of Public Policy at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, where she led efforts to ensure maximum funding for global programs to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV as well as programs to provide care and treatment for entire families. Prior to that, Natasha spent four years in the Clinton Administration, including the White House and the U.S. Department of Treasury, advising senior Administration officials on domestic economic development issues. She is a graduate of the University of Chicago and has a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mike Skonieczny
Director of Public Policy

Mike Skonieczny is the Director of Public Policy, where he leads the organization’s advocacy efforts, with a particular focus on expanding U.S. financial support for the Global Fund. Prior to Friends, Mike was a Senior Public Policy Officer at the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, where he mainly focused on domestic and global AIDS funding and appropriations, prevention of mother-to-child transmission, pediatric treatment and related issues. Prior to his time at the Foundation, he worked for three years as a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (D-CT), primarily staffing her on the Agriculture appropriations subcommittee and working on FDA and health-related issues. He is a graduate of Penn State University and has a master’s degree from George Washington University.

Sara Green
Associate Director of Communications

Sara Green is the Associate Director of Communications for Friends of the Global Fight. She has a broad background in global health communications and operations, ranging from awareness-building initiatives to television promotion to grassroots program development. Prior to Friends, Sara was the lead strategic communications staffer for USAID-funded BroadReach Healthcare. Earlier in her career, Sara worked for Rx for Survival, a global public health awareness-building project with partners PBS, TIME, Penguin and NPR. She also served as an in-country consultant for Hope for Children, an Ethiopian NGO focused on AIDS orphans. Before entering the global health arena, Sara worked as a radio reporter in San Francisco. Sara is a graduate of Duke University and has a master''s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.

Patrice Wedderburn
Policy Associate

Patrice Wedderburn is the Public Policy Associate at Friends of the Global Fight. She recently completed her Master’s in Social Work at Boston College. Prior to joining Friends, Patrice worked in Massachusetts at the state level on immigration advocacy and as well in development as at a U.S.-based international development agency. Additionally, during graduate school she conducted research overseas, in both Cuba and Uganda, on international health policy. Prior to graduate school Patrice spent a year working as a community organizer with AmeriCorps VISTA. Patrice also holds a B.A. in Politics with a concentration in Poverty Studies from Washington & Lee University.

Jennifer Kay
Communications and Special Projects Coordinator

Jennifer Kay is the Communications and Special Projects Coordinator for Friends of the Global Fight. In this roll she assists in the day-to-day communications work of Friends and manages the Web site. Additionally, she serves as an assistant to the Executive Director. Jennifer came to Friends of the Global Fight from the University of Redlands where she earned her B.A. in Government and Race and Ethnic Studies.

Edward W. Scott

Chairman of the Board
Founder of Friends of the Global Fight, Ed serves on the Board of Directors of the Institute for International Economics and is the founder of the Center for Global Development. In 2002, he and three other founders, worked alongside Bono and Bobby Shriver to create DATA (Debt AIDS Trade Africa) now ONE.
In 1995, Mr. Scott founded BEA Systems, Inc., where he served both as President and Executive Vice President for World Wide Field Operations, supervising BEA''s sales, marketing and service operations. Prior to founding BEA, he was Executive Vice President in charge of worldwide sales and marketing at Pyramid Technology. Mr. Scott also was one of the founders of Sun Microsystems Federal Division, Sun Federal.
He was an executive in the U.S. government for 17 years, where he served under seven Attorneys General and three Secretaries of Transportation. In his last government assignment he served as an Assistant Secretary in the U.S. Department of Transportation. He holds a Masters degree from Michigan State University, and is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Michigan State University.
Mr. Scott also serves on the Board of the Florida Institute of Technology, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy and the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Florida. He also is the Chairman of the Florida Beer Company and is the owner and operator of the Kiwi Tennis Club in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida.
