The intellectual Multaka (meeting) for innovation originated as an intellectual project in 1998, with two initial bulletin issues (al-Multaka: contribution in innovation and renewal). Afterwards, it extended to be an internet site. Al-Multaka contributed in and supervised several intellectual and research symposiums. In 2002, and in cooperation with Dar al-Fikr, al-Multaka began to publish an annual book .
