Dr. Abdulwahab Asamarai      Board Chairman
 Dr. Asamarai has served as a board member in LIFE for Relief and Development since it''s establishment in 1992.  He holds the following degrees: D.V.M., M.Sc., Ph.D. and M.D. His degree as a Medical Doctor was inspired by his commitment to helping the needy.  He hopes to continue to see LIFE extending the hand to all suffering people around the world.

 Mohamed Idris                          Board Vice Chairman
 Mohamed Idris is a newly appointed Board Member to the Life for Relief and Development Board of Directors. He maintains an Associates Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, a B.S. degree in Business Administration, and an M.A. degree in Management. His past achievements include a position as the Executive Director of the American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa (ARAHA) in Minneapolis, MN, as well as serving as the Senior Pharmacy Technician at the Hennepin County Medical Center.
 
Dr. Mujahid Al-Fayadh            President / CEO of LIFE
 Dr. Al-Fayadh has a Ph. D. in the field of Food Biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana -Champaign. Dr. Al-Fayadh also maintains a B.Sc. and M. Sc. in Dairy and Food Technology. He hopes to see LIFE become a more globally known and well-established organization serving humanity and extending hands to the weak and the needy.
 
Michel J. Salloum                     Board Secretary
   A recent Board Member of LIFE.  Holds a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Held several technical and managerial leadership positions.  Currently serves as a Board Member of the Muslim Community Association of Ann Arbor (MCA).  Served as President of the MCA (2004-2005), V.P. and Board Member of the Michigan Islamic Academy (MIA) (1997-1999), Secretary of the MCA E.C. (1995-1996).

Dr. Baha Alak                           Board Member
 Dr. Baha M. Alak holds a D.V.M. degree from the University of Baghdad, as well as an M.S. in Clinical Pathology and a Ph.D. in Reproductive Biology. His past professional achievements include serving as a Clinical Research Scientist and Consultant Embryologist and Laboratory Director.   
 
Dr. Farok Hamod                      Board Member
 Dr. Hamod has been a Board Member of LIFE since 2003. He currently holds a PhD in Islamic Law and works as the President and Imam of Al-Huda Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also the President of the Islamic Law and Cultural Association, as well as the President of the Academy of Islamic Study.
