After a series of negotiations among elite of well-educated academics and press members, Bait Al-Anbat was officially recognized in 1997 as a none-governmental Arabic institution for culture and civilized communication.Bait Al-Anbat is a Jordanian cultural establishment ,it is an Arabian establishment for culture and civilized communication .when performing any activity or program ,this establishment basicly counts on voluntary efforts .the main objectives of Bait Al-Alanbat do not represent any ideological ,denominational ,or political tendencies ,its main concerns are to develop the cultural life in Jordan ,show the importance of being aware of the heritage ,and to develop a better civilizations'' communication .the name Bait Al-Anbat was taken from Nabataeans ,(the people who built Petra) ,this name was chosen to show respect to those people whose civilized manner of communicating with other civilizations was and still highly admired .
