During her two weeks of competition in Damascus, Princess Haya managed to detect the problems faced by her athlete colleagues and the obstacles that hinder their further progress.
The Princess felt the need to form an association that would provide excelling athletes with incentives and which makes sure they get all the support they require from sports clubs and federations.
As a result, this organization was founded in 1994 to create a legislative procedure for professional sports in Jordan. Currently it provides, free of charge, protection; legal advice for athletes concerning their professional negotiations and national health care for all International athletes. This organization also provides awards and incentives to further motivate athletes who have already achieved at Arab and Asian levels.
The association also aims at:
1- providing moral and financial support for athletes.
2- Co-operating with sports federations worldwide to encourage and support sports in the Kingdom.
3- Co-operating with sports clubs to enhance their role in society as much as possible.
4- Creating fan clubs for different sports.
5- Promoting the culture of sports in the community.
