DYCA is a None Governmental Organization established on 2002 following the WHO reports stating
that " public awareness plays an essential part of its response in talking the various health challenges
of the 21st centaury including Diabetes mellitus". WHO also paid significant attention to the growing
role of the on-line health information, and ranked this kind of information as an important tool for
public awareness and emphasized the importance of the regular evaluation of the medical Web
sites'' contents. DYCA is Registered in Egypt in the official NGO registrar under Registration Number
1683 Giza since 6 / 4 / 2002

DYCA Mission when Established 2002:
As The number of people with diabetes in Egypt is currently estimated to be 7 % of population (~ 70
millions) and The number of people with diabetes worldwide will continue to increase at record levels
through 2030, DYCA has set its 5 years mission
