DYCA Activities
DYCA organized educational seminars for all interested parties about the means of experiencing a healthy
and safe life with diabetes. The seminars are handled by consultant endocrinologists who’s main aim is to
enhance the level of diabetes awareness among young people and train them for a healthy and quality
lifestyle.
DYCA produces several TV series & cartoon . DYCA Doctor members have published numerous papers in
accredited international conferences about importance of awareness for people with diabetes
DYCA Initiated and is currently supporting Egypt’s Portal for Diabetes on the Internet which has
become the main medium for all interested parties starting from diabetes suffering people to doctors
and healthcare professionals for getting advantage of relevant info, educational and awareness
activities, and free consultations from specialists.
Egypt’s Portal for Diabetes, www.diabetes-eg.com , have been recognized by The International
community service of Health On Net foundation as a reliable source for health info on the world of the
internet. The daily visitors of www.diabetes-eg.com & www.diabetes-eg.org are increasing one day
after the other from all around the world. The portal is accessible through a free internet # 07071234
in Greater Cairo , Giza , Alexandria and El Menia. More governorates are planned to be served
progressively.
DYCA active participation in the international Diabetes day 14 NOV 2006 and promoting the IDF / UN
initiative UNITE FOR DIABETES has concluded thousands of Egyptian supporting messages towards the UN
resolution

produced by DYCA " A day of a Diabetic Child" on March 07
On April 2007 DYCA initiated its D A G Initiative Diabetes Awareness Gauge in collaboration with several
Egyptian communities.
DYCA had been entrusted by IDF EMME president to participate in organizing the Regional Conference in Cairo
7-9 Sept 2007
DYCA is aiming at Playing a role in assuring healthcare ethics for humanitarian projects in Egypt. In this
context DYCA is currently initiating plans to establish two branches one in Delta and the other in Upper Egypt.
