What We Provide
The Early Intervention Program (EIP) serves children from birth until 6 years of age. The program provides comprehensive rehabilitation services through a team of professionals including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, psychosocial counselors and special education teachers.
The AHS Elementary School - Children (6 years until 12 years old) follow the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education throughout Jordan. In addition, they receive special education, computer classes and music and drama.
Worked into their schedules are comprehensive rehabilitation services, provided by our physical therapists, occupational therapists, psycho-social counselors, nurses, nutritionist advisor and the orthopedic engineering technicians.
The Outreach Team and the Mobile Clinic travel to areas with limited resources throughout the kingdom. AHS contributes to a multi specialized group from other volunteer agencies, a physiotherapist and an occupational therapist to the Outreach team and to the Mobile Clinic is added orthotists and technicians. People with different disabilities, who require rehabilitation are assessed and family members and volunteers are trained to provide basic rehabilitation programs under the supervision of our specialists.
