Establishment of the Association
  
The approval of embellishment Saudi Physical Therapy Association was issued by the decision of King Saudi University, held in 16/11/1421 by virtue of 2o article of the higher education and universities system. The previous decision was annexed to the decision of scientific assembly in the 29th meeting held in 13 June 2001 to form the temporary committee of Saudi Physical Therapy Association, in the virtue of article (4/2) of the regulations of scientific associations. The establishment of association interested in establishing the regulation of establishment Saudi Physical Therapy Association and to plan Skelton Chart of the Board of directors whereas its details were mentioned in the main regulation of the association

The Objectives of the Association
  
Development the scientific thought in the field of physiotherapy in addition to develop and activate it.

Implement the scientific continuity for the members of the association.

 Presenting scientific consultation in the field of specialization.

Development of the scientific and professional performance for the members of the association.

Facilitating the interchange of scientific production and scientific thoughts in the field of association''s interests between the concerned establishments and the authorities inside and outside the Kingdom.

Further to the interest of our government towards the individual of the society and bearing the responsibility towards the specialists in the field of health; Saudi Association pays special attention for health education for the society and to upgrade the level of knowledge towards many of common health problem, how to overcome them and to avoid them through holding symposium and workshop in addition to distribute guiding publications.
