ASAC offers a number of programs and services throughout the year. These include:
Finding a family doctor
Finding a school for your children
Driving to groceries
Help with banking
Help getting furniture and other household items
Using public transit
The public library system
Field trips to: Calgary Zoo, Heritage Park, Calgary Stampede, hockey games, Calgary Public Library, leisure centres, employment centres etc.
This program reaches out to all Sudanese and non-Sudanese immigrants helping them become more independent by providing guidance,counselling, referals and interpretation. The program aims to lower barriers caused by language,education and cultural differences.
Monthly planning and cooking sessions enable participants to acquire skills leading to healthy, efficient and affordable meals.

ASAC provides interpretation and translation services for members of the Sudanese community in their communications with important service providers, schools, authorities and government agencies. We also offer a Community Language School and Translation Services.
