The Iraqi Union for Development and Investment (IUDI)


The IUDI is a non profit organization (NGO) was established in August 2005, 

 It’s members consist of highly skillful, experienced businessmen, academic professionals, committees, business companies from various countries working together to help rebuild Iraq infrastructure , economic foundation thru the help of our member company (Ramita ) in cooperation with foreign companies .

 

The IUDI has established a commercial marketing center in Baghdad to help foreign companies display their products and services and promote their companies .

 

Our IUDI member Ramita will be working with foreign companies to help them sell and promote their products and services in the Iraqi market thru displaying their products and services in the CMC using local TV, media and other marketing channels, acting as an agent, a middleman and as facilitator between your company (participating company) and both public and private sector in Iraq .

 


Objectives of the Union


1. The Union is working to strengthen trade and economic relations between members of the union of traders, entrepreneurs and manufacturers and to share experiences and information with their counterpart in Arab and foreign countries.
 

2.Participate in and contribute to local and foreign seminars and conferences for the purpose of access and benefit.


3.Support and stimulate economic and development projects, and private sector involvement in all business events to build the Iraqi economy and serve the citizens.
 

4.Development of trade and commodity exchange through exhibitions, commercial centers and markets, or to participate in inside and outside Iraq.
 

5.Work hard to provide employment and investment opportunities for the Iraqi traders by encouraging them to establish economic projects in accordance with the principle of partnership with Arab and foreign investors and companies.
 

6.Offering specialized courses of training inside Iraq for workers in the Iraqi private sector to develop their administrative, marketing and financial potential and ability for the purpose to keep abreast with recent technical and technological developments.
 

7.Coordination and cooperation with governmental and non-governmental organizations to change the administrative patterns and mechanism in line with the new orientation towards free trade and the elimination of economic and political barriers that impede the flow of Arab and foreign investment and free movement of funds and personnel in accordance with the laws and regulations in force.


8.Creating jobs for the unemployed labor by supporting small and medium projects to raise the people''s living standards to eliminate the sources of terrorism.


9.Using modern scientific and technological equipments in the business instead of the old primitive means by using modern communications and rapid networks (such as computer and the Internet) and to exchange information, expertise and marketing information.
 

10.Cooperation and coordination with international and Arab financing institutions, national and international non-governmental organizations to introduce the union and its activity and specialization to obtain support and preferential loan guarantees to help serve Arab and foreign investment to create a stable economy and the country''s security.


11.Work through the formed committees pursuant to its specialization to solve the problems among themselves on one hand and with relevant institutions on the other hand, through genuine methods.


12.Attribution of support and traders, businessmen and industrialists who are subjected to economic and material damage by disasters and emergency incidents and take action to the economic and moral support and secure ways of coordination with the concerned parties to overcome the damage caused to them.
