Training and Education on human rights
The training programs ensure the realisation and the follow up of actions in this field. Training activities concerning informal training destined to NGOs (human rights NGOs), child’s rights, women’s rights, development…) and to other target groups such us (students, journalists, lawyers, judges, teachers…).
These activities are usually held in the shape of training sessions, however the AIHR organises as well workshops, conferences, and seminars on the issue of teaching human rights in the formal educational system (primary schools, colleges, universities).  Among these activities, we can also mention the preparation and the diffusion of manuals and pedagogical tools destined to teaching human rights.
Information and Documentation
The AIHR ensures as well the realisation and follow up of information and documentation programs and activities. The AIHR has a specialised library in human rights in three languages of the region: (Arabic, French and English). The AIHR has a computerised system for the management and diffusion of documentation and information within internal and external users.
The AIHR ensures specialised training for NGOs in the field of treatment of documentation and information, use of Internet, mainly the creation and management of the website in the field of human rights. The AIHR offers also technical guidance for the management of information and documentation in the field of human rights .
In 1995, the AIHR created, in collaboration with other Arab NGOs, AHRINET (Arab Human Rights Information and Documentation Network).
Studies and Researches
The AIHR ensures as well the realisation, management and follow up of studies and researches. It ensures also all the steps of preparation, organisation and follow up of conferences, workshops and the different scientific manifestations organised by the AIHR.
Communication and publication
The AIHR ensures as well the realisation, management and follow up of the activities of communication, mainly with media, as well as activities of edition, diffusion and publication produced by the AIHR or in collaboration with other partners. The AIHR is also responsible for the preparation and publication of the scientific review the « Arab Review for Human Rights ».
