The CIEDE got involved, from its creation, with the other national and international partners, notably by the realization of a study related to the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) for 5 renewable energies and energy efficiency projects.

This study concerned:

•  The application of the CDM to the wind Parks of 140 and 60 MW in the North and in the South of Morocco

•  The application of the CDM for the biogas energy recovery of the Discharge of Marrakech

•  The application of the CDM for the small hydroelectric power plants of El Borj and Tanafnit in Khénifra of 20 MW and 18 MW

•  The application of the CDM for Biogas recovery of the waste water of the big Wilaya of Agadir

Le CIEDE is also implied within the framework of the Synergy program with French, German, English and Indian agencies partners for the risk analysis of the CDM projects, to be executed within the framework of the Kyoto Protocol ( Iris-Kyoto project, 2003-2005 ) .

The CIEDE is also involved in a consortium of 18 euro-Mediterranean agencies of development for the execution of a project concerning the promotion of a new generation of solar thermal systems in the Mediterranean partner''''s countries (2006-2008)
