The primary aim of this Society is to promote and co-operate in the preservation, restoration and rehabilitation  of the  historic, artistic and natural heritage of the Isles of Gozo and Comino. The Society is a voluntary non profit organization.

For the furtherance of its purpose the Society shall endeavor:-
(a)To promote interest in the preservation and protection of historical buildings and monuments, sites of aesthetic beauty, geological and ecological importance including the flora and fauna of such places,  and the character of the towns and villages, especially in relation to the problems arising from modern urban development and sprawl.
(b)To stimulate the enforcement of existing laws and the enactment of new ones for the preservation, protection and restoration aforesaid:
(c)To encourage the making of donations and bequests to the State and/or Society under trust for the enjoyment by the public of lands known for their natural, geological and aesthetic value or of property in general having a historic or artistic value.
(d)To ensure by covenant the protection and the maintenance in the public interest of such lands and property as aforesaid and, if need be, to promote the acquisition of such lands and property by the society for the same purposes.
(e)to intervene in any way which is deemed proper and, insofar  as practicable, even financially, to prevent the disfigurement of such lands and property.
(f)To collaborate with any other body (including State) or enterprise pursuing the same ends as the Society;
(g)To promote awareness of the value of our heritage among the younger generation.
These provisions do not in any way preclude the Society from performing other functions in the furtherance of their primary aim.
