The Welfare Association’s General Assembly is an active body that includes over 100 prominent Arab and Palestinian members and associates. The Assembly meets annually to review work progress as well as approve audited financial statements and strategic issues. The Board of Trustees, elected by the General Assembly every three years, meets biannually to formulate policies and strategies of the Welfare Association and to review its performance.
The Board oversees the Association’s activities through an elected Management Committee and active specialized committees for Programs and Projects, Resource Development, Information, Investment, and through technical committees. The committees are composed of Board members, executive and management staff and outside experts.
The Welfare Association also has a 110-strong executive team of professionals responsible for implementing programs and projects and who report to the BOT and its various committees.
