CEEWA-U''s goal is to increase the level of women''s access to and control over economic   resources for Agricultural Enterprise development.

  
   To strengthen the capacity of decision-makers to integrate gender concerns in laws, policies and programmes.
   To provide a forum for women to discuss, share experiences and support activities that promote their participation in mainstream economic development polices and programmes.
   To facilitate widespread replication of micro-credit principles and standards that are sustainable and serve long term strategic and practical needs of women.
   To advocate for micro credit principles and standards that meet women''s practical and strategic gender needs in a sustainable manner.
   To enhance and build professionalism in the day-to-day roles and responsibilities of women through decision-making including the establishment of an empowerment centre.
   To promote gender equity in agricultural extension service provision.
   To network with other institutions working towards the goal of creating gender equity in poverty eradication initiatives.
   To promote the institutional development of CEEWA-Uganda into a strong organization with the capacity to execute, monitor, document programs and mobilize funds.
