New Premises
The Association has also expanded. New Premises in Nasr City consist of a compound on land allocated by the government for the expansion of the association’s activities and which includes:

A model Kindergarten for both blind and sighted pre-schoolers, giving the blind children the opportunity to integrate with sighted children their own age.

A center to provide training and jobs for the Association’s blind girls as well as income generation for the Association by the production of plastic bags, uniforms and bed sheets, wool blankets and shawls, as well as various other products.

A welcome Boarding Home for blind girls over 21 years of age from our Association and others who are ready fro a more independent and more private life.

A cultural Center equipped with computers for sighted students and talking computers for the blind, girls and boys. The Center also includes a library with books, books in Braille, books on tape, other audio cassettes, as well as society games for the blind.
