MSI/CIV-JAM?s mission is ?to strengthen national-level, reform-oriented civil society organizations advocating for improved governance in the areas of justice, human rights, women and children?s rights and citizen security, by providing institutional development support and facilitating the emergence of working partnerships around a common agenda.?

CIV-JAM is funded by USAID from October 2003 through September 2005. To achieve its mission, we will work with our organizational partners on issues related to human rights, citizen security, and good governance in Jamaica. The MSI/CIV-JAM team is a core group of staff and consultants dedicated to one main focus, peace and economic development for Jamaica. This team provides training, facilitation, guidance, and other technical assistance to project partners?as well as overall CIV-JAM contract management.
