Brief history about the Bahraini Business Women Society
The Bahraini Business Women Society was established in the year 2000 under the article number 130/2/m.s.; that is according to the provisions of the law for societies in the Ministry of Social Affairs.
2000-2002: The first session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Fatemah Hassan Jawad.
2002-2004: The second session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Afnan Rashed Al-Zayani.
2004-2006: The third session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Layla Abdulah Fakhro and Shaikah Aysha Ali Al-Khalifa.
2006-2008: The fourth session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Mona Yousif Almoayyad.
2008-2010: The fifth session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Mona Yousif Almoayyad.
2010-2012: The sixth session under the chairwomanship of Mrs. Mona Yousif Almoayyad.
Most important goals of the society
Development and promotion of social and economical relations among business women in Bahrain.
Promoting and strengthening the role of Bahraini women and her participation in all commercial, economical, investment, and developmental activities in the country.
Endeavour to present and to allow for Bahraini women''s participation in the executive boards of the chamber of commerce and Industry, banks and investment companies.
Bahraini women''s participation in conferences and working as to achieve cooperation and economical exchange with other Gulf and Arab countries, and the world in general.
