As a Non-profit charitable organization, AL-Amal Society for Deaf Children in Hebron was found in 1987 by a number of distinguished physicians and concerned people from the district. The primary objective behind establishing this society is to take care of a large number of hearing-impaired children from the district, and provide them with the basic needs they lack.
The society is located in ALDuhdah area near the Department of Traffic in the basement of Shaheen Mosque. The basement was prepared in accordance with the conditions required for such service.

Mission :
The idea of ALAmal Society came to serve the hearing-impaired children and help them be an effective part of the local community.

Vision :
The main aim of the society is to continue supporting deaf children and work on developing special educational programs that prepare this group of our sons  for a full ordinary life.

Objectives :
1. Constructing the first special academic school for hearing-impaired children in the district
2. Setting up a special vocational training center for deaf children (13 years and above).
3. Establishing an audio logy center for early diagnosis and treatment of hearing- impaired children.
