HOOD has defined certain missions to execute them as follows:
1. Defending HR either individually of collectively and contradicting all violations they face and assign attorneys for defending them.
2. Monitoring all HR violations and freedoms.
3. Organizing symposiums and specific lectures as well as participating in conferences in this regard that held inside or outside Yemen.
4. Collecting information about HR and explain them, besides making studies in this regard.
5. Preparing and issuing brochures and circulations...etc, and other printing materials to publicize HR culture in needed occasions.
6. Establishing training courses for attorneys and journalists as well as concerned in HR in order to qualify trainers in HR.
7. Co-coordinating and collaborating with organization and interested bodies in HR locally and internationally.
