The GCMHP General Assembly elects a Board of Directors, which overlooks the activities of the Program and sets general policy. The Director-General runs the Program's daily affairs with the assistance of an Administrator and the heads of departments. The total number of part-time and full-time employees is 173. Also, the Programme has a Board of Advisors consisting of 22 international figures and experts in the fields of mental health and community work.
