At PYALARA, we believe that in order to make a real difference in the Palestinian society, investment in youth and media is crucial. To create a democratic and free media culture, we have to invest in young people. Through supporting the professionalisation of young Palestinian journalists, we are contributing towards the further development of the general Palestinian media.  Given the significant role media can play in democratic nation building, PYALARA views media as an instrument of change rather than a mere mouthpiece.
