The youth center launches different projects:

? Organization of seminars, lectures and workshops
The Youth Center organizes seminars, lectures and workshops focused on empowering youth and informing them about the Human Rights, theirs duties and rights as citizen. These conferences overviewed several issues: the youth participation on the emergent democracy process, gender issue, unemployment effects, violence expression, the application of internationals conventions to locals laws, and others issues. All of these themes have been raised, discussed and debated during these training courses.

Moreover, the Youth Center follows the youth working groups formed after the training. These are assigned to spread out the skilled transmitted trough the trainings courses. The Youth Center’s aims at focusing on the effective implementation of the delivered courses.

Also, the Youth Center’s target are children, as the coming teenagers. This vulnerable population benefit form the courses of increasing awareness on their rights and duties.

• The Youth Center, as one of the main partners of these lectures and workshops, organized throughout all the country, has built up a strong and large national and international network. Among them we can find: The German Friedrich Ebert Foundation ( FES ), National Democratic Institute - NDI ( YEMEN ), British Council - Sana’a, The German Embassy in Sana'a , The Japanese Embassy in Sana'a , Modern Company of Food Products – Seven Stars – Yamani in Hodeida Shamakh Group of Companies in Hodeida, The Yemen Islamic Bank for Finance and Investment – Hodeidah , Salah Addin Plastic Company – Hodeidah , and Individuals and social figures.

? Participation of international workshops, conferences
The Center has gained recognition from international organizations specialized in intellectual property and human rights, and those organizations have supplied the Youth Center with important books, references, and documents. Ecpat International, Amnesty International, Arabic Center For Independent judiciary and law, Cairo Center for Human Rights Studies, Arabic Program For Human Rights Activists, The Human Rights Center for The Assistance of Prisoners (HRCAP), United Nation Media.

? Cultural program
The Cultural program has been set up to encourage the youth’s expression and production in artistic and writing on several issues by publishing them in Innovation, the first and unique leaflet in Yemen for the Youth. The nine issues published contain poems, shorts stories and essays draws, and allowed to more than seventy persons, youth, researchers and specialists, to express themselves in this leaflet. This publication has been distributed for free in Yemen, Egypt, Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

? Educational program
The Educational program is focused on erasing the illiteracy among children and youth trough reading and writing courses and giving them information and training on the youth’s rights and duties.

? Library’s Center
The library’s Center is an open place for all youth, collecting books from different topics.
