History and Background

Popular Aid Committee

Established in 20 April 1978, it’s a non-governmental and non-profitable Lebanese association.

It groups 25 medical and social centers in Beirut and all over Lebanon.

Offered till now 2500000 medical services without any distinction.

Has lost in war 7 martyrs from its members and 18 injured who have made big sacrifices to save our country.

Organizes different programs of development ( health prevention, environment protection and technical training’s)

Participated in collaboration with the ministry of health and the national education and the universal organization of health in programs of extraction of the poliomyelitis and other diseases and the prevention of school health.

Participated in national and international congresses that studies health and environment protection issues.

Participated in the compaign of afforestation, coast protection in collaboration with the ministry of environment and “big blue” organization.

The “ civil popular defense” which is an active section from the “AIDING POPULAR COMITY”, is ready 24 hours with its full equipment to answer all people calls.

  •  The silver medal of “UNICEF”.

Named in first place by the Arabic research center for the catastrophic protection.

Organized dozen of congresses, security and environment protection sessions.

An active member in the “Lebanese popular congress”.

A Leader in the prevention of diseases.

Member in the “Lebanese assemblage of the environment protection”.

Member in the “non-governmental Arabic organization, (NGO)”

A controller member in the “Arabic federation of crescent and red cross”

Has regular publications and Brochures for health prevention.
