Egyptian society for information technology clearly determined its activities since establishment in 2001 and vertically expanded in the same field.
In addition Egyptian society for information technology participated in many activities which help in society developing as:
- Co-operate with ministry of communication & information within "Towards Egyptian information society" program.
- Co-operate with Arab academy for sciences & technology within "developing graduates skills" program to qualify gradates for market labor.
- Participating in Egyptian Olympiad in informatics (which is organizing each summer.
- Co-operate with ministry of communication & information in establishing electronic library for kids.
- Sponsoring granted kids in computer (8-14 years) to give them free training each summer.
- Participating in enterprise : "Computer for each home".
