The European Youth Forum is run by and for young people. Political leadership is directed by the Bureau, a collective body elected by the General Assembly and responsible for the implementation of the Work Plan and the development of the Youth Forum. The Bureau meets every second month and takes active part in the working structures of the organisation as well as in the external representation of the organisation. The day-to-day administration of the Forum is carried out by the Secretariat, based in Brussels.
The Forum’s work with its main institutional partners is guided by two commissions – the European Union Affairs Commission and the Council of Europe Affairs Commission. The members of both bodies are elected representatives from the Member Organisations of the YFJ. Other working structures are convened on an ad-hoc basis. Please see organigramme for further information.
