ELIAMEP is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors and an 12-member Honorary Council, which consists of prominent personalities from the academic, business, foreign policy, military and media communities. It is staffed by a small number of permanent senior officers and a large number of research associates and interns, usually affiliated with it on a project basis. The Foundation's main sources of funding have included research and training contracts with public and private sector entities and grants from international institutions and foundations.
