Youth Development and Voluntary Work association is a nongovernmental, non-profit and voluntary association, works on developing Youth capacities, improving their skills, increasing their experiences, raising their awareness and investing their capabilities in building and serving their communities.

In addition to that, Youth Development and Voluntary Work association works to activate Youth role in decision making, to empower them in order to be able to lead their communities, and to represent the Youth in all levels of decision making.

Youth Development and Voluntary Work association was established on the basis of working to support and focus on youth leadership working on planning for the future, decision making, building a democratic society covered with civilized and culturized values and to consolidate team''s spirit in all fields in order to reach our goal in raise the awareness and develop of as much as possible of the Palestinian youth to be able to build a democratic civil society in which equity and social justice prevail.

Youth Development and Voluntary Work association works to achieve the following goals:
1. To consolidate the role of youth, to develop their capacities in all fields and to enable them to plan for their future.
2. To encourage the youth to enquire the voluntary work spirit.
3. To increase youth awareness regarding the matters they are concerned about or considered a concern within their societies.
4. To create new job opportunities for the youth.
5. To form university students support unit.
6. To give the Palestinian Youth the opportunity to communicate with their Arab and international counterparts.
7. To enable the Youth to develop and refine their hobbies to suit their communities needs.
8. To deepen and strengthen the concept of gender equality and to work on implementing it especially the equality under law in all fields.
9. To work on spreading and implementing Democracy in the Palestinian society.
10.  To coordinate with other Palestinian rehabilitating and youth organizations to improve the situation of the Palestinian Youth.
11.  To network with Arabic and International Youth organizations to discuss youth issues and challenges internationally.

Youth Development and Voluntary work Association is registered at the ministry of Interior Affairs- Associations Department at 27-6-2004 no. (BL-454-S).
