EACD is a non- governmental organization, founded in 1995, registered at the Ministry of Social Affairs - Registration number: 307 /1995 - New registration number: 2314 / 2005

Throughout its activities, EACD is aiming to enhance skills and capabilities of members of the Society all over Egypt, specifically the underprivileged neighborhood in random and rural areas.
EACD trusts that emerging competence of individuals and society pertaining to such areas is the pillar for everlasting development efforts through mutual collaboration between NGO’s, Governmental and Private Sector, as well as maximizing the benefit from local resources to satisfy these deprived areas needs.

VISION
EACD aims to promote skills of individuals and societies living in deprived random areas and to become a dynamic core for comprehensive development.
The association is aiming to use expertise and experience to change the life of many needy people, in rural and urban areas where the infrastructures and economic status are so scarce.

MISSION
EACD focus on women, children and youth throughout a comprehensive synergy of developing programs concerning:
- Health
- Education
- Economic development – micro credit finance and income generating projects
- Environment

EACD is working as often as possible with local organizations (CDAs or CBOs) which exist in many places, but which role is marginal because of their lack of experience and expertise. EACD decided to undertake this role of empowering those associations in order to reach an unlimited number of needy persons all over Egypt and to create a real impact on the Egyptian society.
