The main AWR strategies for countering these developments are: • publishing of Arab-West Report, an English electronic journal consisting of translations and summaries in English from prominent publications in the Arab World and of some special reports analyzing current developments in the media which are sent out on a weekly basis to a board base of subscribers, including European, USA and World Councils of churches, The El Azhar Committee for interfaith Dialogue, the Delegation of the European Union, Western embassies in Cairo, Christianity magazine, Der Spiegel and a number of universities. • E-mail distribution of AWR on a weekly basis (52 issues a year) with an average of 50 pages per week, including a table of contents with hyperlinks for easy finding of texts. An average of 35 translated articles and news summaries is sent out each week. • Media watch of the Arab press- critiquing articles and reports organizing in both the West and the Arab world that are obviously one-sided or providing distorted information. • Lecture tours and organizing visitors'' trips to Egypt further promote AWR''s aims. AWR is guided by a board of Advisors of prominent and non-Egyptian, Muslim and Christian scholars and religious leaders, Orthodox, Catholic and Protestant, among them, Father Dr. Christian van Nispen s.j., professor of Islam and philosophy at the catholic Seminary in Cairo, Dr. Abd al-Mu''ti Bayyoumi, professor of Religious fundamentals at the Azhar University (former dean), member of the Islamic Research Institute and member of Parliament, Coptic orthodox Bishop Thomas, Dr. Amr Khalil, economist, Eng.
