Foundation 
    Qatar Red crescent society was established in 1978 as the first charity voluntary institution in the state of Qatar, and gained international recognition from the international committee in Geneva in 1981. It then joined the International Federation in the same year. The Qatar Red crescent Society is a member of the general Secretariat of the Arab Red Crescent Societies with its headquarter in Jeddah.

objectives 
 The objectives of the Qatar Red Crescent Society could be summarized as follows :
•Provision of indiscriminate help to relieve human suffering .
•Contribution towards the organization of social and humanitarian services in line with the mission of the Red Crescent .
•Spreading of the high principles of the international movement between different categories of the society .
