Objectives:
Foundation seeks to achieve the following objectives:
•Taking care of the orphan category and providing them with services that give them a decent life.
•Sheltering orphans (with unknown parents) who lack living in a family through providing them with comprehensive sustenance services.
•Following up the status of the orphans in the families which nurse them in order to know their conditions and the type of care offered to them, and its suitability for their proper upbringing.
•Seeking alternative environment for children who live in broken families through death, divorce or disability, imprisonment or disease and confirm the inability of the family to maintain them properly.
•Participating in realizing the social integrity within the Qatar society.
Activities:
The Institute provides two kinds of care:
1.Care inside the Foundation: The child is sheltered in a home belonging to the foundation which guarantees him all the financial, health and personal needs, as well as the living services. The home shall be an alternative to his/her of parents home, and efforts are made to secure, a family environment compensating the loss of the original family environment for the child.
2.Care outside the Institute: The nursing of a child under the custody of a Qatari family which looks after and nurses him/her as if he/she is a member of the family. For this purpose the Institute follows up the adoption of the child with the new environment and confirms the safety of his/her nursing and education according to the required principles, and securing all the necessary needs for his/her growth in the best possible way.
