Injaz Egypt started in 2003 as a project under Save the Children. In 2007, the project spun-off to operate as an independent not-for-profit organization registered
with the Ministry of Social Solidarity under registration number 6899. Injaz Egypt is a member nation of the regional Injaz Al Arab and the international organization Junior Achievement Worldwide.
Since the launch of its activities in 2003, Injaz Egypt has aimed at enhancing the skills of youth and increasing their opportunities to join the job market as qualified employees and entrepreneurs. Injaz does this by helping to bridge the existing gap between the knowledge acquired through education and the skills required by the job market through enhancing students'' leadership, business entrepreneurial, problem-solving, communication, and soft skills.
Through a series of different carefully designed courses, Injaz raises awareness of Egyptian youth on their personal and professional capabilities and potentials and helps compliment the Egyptian education and youth development systems to better prepare youth for employment, whether as employees or business owners.
Volunteers from our corporate partners are recruited and trained to deliver our courses in public schools and universities, a unique model designed to engage the private sector and bring the experiences of the work place directly into the classroom, providing the students with real role models who guide them through a semester-long experience of learning and inspiration.
