|
Injaz courses are taught by volunteers from the corporate sector once a week for one hour for an average duration of 12-15 weeks.
Following is a list of the course modules offered:
1.Personal Life Planning: Introduces youth to knowledge, attitude and skills to successfully meet the challenges of adolescence and youth adulthood, and enhanced their self-esteem and competency.
2.Personal Economics: Introduces participants to basic economic concepts as well as market transactions to better understand Egypt’s economy and learn how to introduce themselves to the market
3.Enterprise in Action: Introduces participants to basic principles of business, economic incentives, the wheel of enterprise, forms of business organizations and the role of government in the economy
4.Success Skills: Develops students’ interpersonal effectiveness through self assessment of personal strengths, examines how such skills match careers of interest and teaches personal marketing methods.
5.Leadership: Allows students to identify characteristics of leaders, study local economic development, work in community service and practice leadership skills.
6.Business Ethics: This course is offered at the university level and poses business ethical dilemmas that young people usually face in the business world. Participants discuss case studies where they try to solve those dilemmas
7.Company: In a group-based program providing practical exposure, students set up a company, choose an industry, conduct market research, raise capital, produce and sell a product or service, maintain company records then divest it at the end of the semester.
8.Entrepreneurship Master Class: A one day session that encourages students to thing about starting their own business as a career option and to identify the key entrepreneurial skills required.
