Minhaj Welfare Foundation was incepted as Minhaj-ul-Quran Welfare Society in 1989. The aims and objectives of the Society envisage welfare and uplift of nations globally akin to United Nations Organization’s (UNO) Resolutions, Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Radiant Principles of Islam. The Foundations basic aims are: Illumination of education, promotion of general health, ban on drugs/narcotics, welfare of orphans and widows, protection of minorities, providing relief for calamity affected and setting up educational institutions equipped with latest technology. The Society is registered with the Government of Pakistan under the Societies Act 1961, and its Accounts are open for Audit and Inspection to all donors and contributors any time! MWF is working on international level. In fact, it is one of the largest NGOs of the world, with a nationwide network of branches and projects in more than 80 countries around the world. The Society has spent billions of rupees on various social welfare projects so far within its own financial resources, while a number of multi-million projects of the Society are under construction and nearing completion. The Society is the ‘Torch-Bearer of Betterment, Peace & Prosperity’ for every human being in the whole world, without any discrimination of color, caste, creed, religion, sect or language.
