Society purchased a plot in Bhakkar City worth Rs. 2,52,000/- measuring 10 marlas for the construction of Computer Centre, Public Library and Office Complex. Construction started early 1999 and by now building is near completion. It is expected that building will be completed in the year 2000 and computer centre, Public Library and Head Office of the Society will be shifted there.
Vocational Training for Girls
A new vocational training centre has been established for the girls for which a new building has been hired. Ten, new sewing machines alongwith other required equipment at a cost of Rs. 2,00,000/- has been purchased. Presently 20 girls are getting training in various trades. This centre is attached with deaf school also and the deaf girls are associated with this centre for learning various skills and also to integrate with normal girls.
Qadir Rural Health Centre is being established at village Hussainabad, 12 kilometers from Bhakkar Town
This Computer Centre has been established at District Headquarter Bhakkar with the financial assistance of Ministry of Women Development and Youth Affairs. Government of the Pakistan
Micro Credit Programe
This programme was started with the financial assistance of National Trust for Population Welfare in 1999. Total credit line with the NGO is 1.2 Million. Eight societies have been set up to whom a credit of Rs. 0.8 Million has been advanced. Recoveries have been started and till now there is no default.
