Aaron A. Bocage
President
A principal and cofounder of EDTEC, Mr. Bocage earned a Master of Social Work degree with specialization in Criminal and Juvenile Justice and Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. He also attended the Wharton School where he participated in the Executive Training in Nonprofit Fiscal Management program. He is co-author of the NYE curriculum series and has over 25 years of experience in youth entrepreneurship.
George E. Waters, Jr.
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Waters, also a principal and cofounder of EDTEC, has a BS in Education from Kansas State University. He also holds Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He has over 25 years of experience in training development, economic empowerment, and developing job programs for urban communities.
Lean Camara
Senior Trainer
Ms Camara has a BA in Journalism from Ithaca College and an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. She has directed entrepreneuship prgrams for at risk youth and trained staff from a variety of youth agencies in the techniques for starting an entrepreneurship program. She is co-author and editor of The New Youth Entrepreneurs Intermediate currciulum series for high school students.
Dr. Stella Jean Horton , Ed.D.
Senior Management Consultant, Senior Training Specialist
Dr. Horton is a graduate of the State University at Rutgers and holds a Doctorate of Education in Anthropology. She also holds a Masters degree in Education from Rutgers and a Bachelor of Science degree in History from AT&T State University. In addition to her academic degrees, Dr. Horton is certified as a teacher and principal in the New Jersey school system.
Dr. Horton''s professional expertise is in the areas of alternative educational methods, where she pioneered the uise of entrepreneurship curricula with at risk populations.
Pamela Taylor
Washington DC
Sr. Consultant, Senior Trainer
Ms. Taylor directs the marketing and public relations effort for EDTEC from Washington, DC. She serves as training liaison to national organizations and coordinates conferences and large scale trainings. With more than 20 years of professional writing, public affairs and policy advocacy experience, Ms. Taylor is working closely with Congress on legislation supporting national youth entrepreneurship education for grades 7 through 12. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University and has completed advanced training in media relations and management.
Dave Waters
Senior Trainer
Dave has over 30 years experience in the field of economic development. He directed a major state agency focused on assisting women and minorities to start new businesses. Additionally, he assisted hundreds of youth to develop business plans and start small businesses. He has trained numerous youth workers on starting youth entrepreneur programs.
John C. Kouch
Finance, Accounting & Contracts
Mr. Kouch is a graduate of LaSalle University with a BS in Business Administration and an MBA with a major focus in Management. Mr. Kouch has extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.
His accounting management experience includes financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, cost, inventory, payables and receivables. His experience in operations management includes retail, inventory control and warehousing. He has also served as a financial management consultant.
