The “Hassan Fathi Award for Architecture” is organized by Bibliotheca Alexandrina and The Supreme Council of Culture’s Architectural Committee.  The event will be held on Wednesday 28th October, 2009 at the Great Hall - Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

The main objective of the event is promoting the present Egyptian Architecture as well  encouraging and honoring Egyptian Architects. The winner in this competition will be offered a Certificate of Merit and a medal carrying the name of Hassan Fathi Award for Architecture. Architectural Works are to be delivered by Sunday, October 4^th, 2009 to the Award’s Secretariat no later than 16:00 hours at The  Alexandria Mediterranean Research Center.
